Where Is CBD Legal?

Is CBD Legal?  Federally, yes. Due to the passage of the Hemp Farm Bill in 2014, industrial hemp farming is once again legal in the US. However, not all states have amended their constitutions to exclude industrial hemp from their schedules.  Great.  Where is CBD legal according to the states?   Between recreational cannabis, medical cannabis, and CBD only legislation, CBD is available at the state level in 47 out of 50 states plus D.C.  Only Idaho, Kansas and South Dakota completely disallow the distribution of CBD products within their bounds – or at least have yet to draft legislation regarding industrial hemp classification.  Currently, industrial hemp is approved for growing in 36 states, even dry alcohol state Utah.  This hemp legally has less than .3% THC content, which means it does not deliver a high.  Instead, present in ample quantities in the hemp plant is cannabidiol (CBD).  All e-commerce CBD is industrial hemp to ensure an ease of adoption from people across the county and across the globe.  Some states regulate all CBD products, including industrial hemp.  However, the medical application is still available with a doctor recommendation.  Even uber conservative states like Texas and Florida allow medical CBD.

Where is CBD Legal? Almost everywhere.
